Join artist Anette Power for a four-session still life painting series designed for beginner to intermediate artists. Each class focuses on a different fundamental skill to help you build stronger compositions, make more confident color choices, and develop more expressive brushwork.

Over four Mondays, you’ll explore:

• Week 1: Values, massing, and creating impact with shapes
• Week 2: Color observation and simplified color shapes for form and clarity
• Week 3: Color mixing with fresh, confident brushstrokes
• Week 4: Composition, drawing, and bringing everything together with individual setups

NOTE PARKING CHARGES:
Be aware the Ventura Harbor Village collects parking fees on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Parking in the lot outside of Buenaventura Art Center will cost $1 per hour up to 4 hours. After four hours the all-day cost is a flat $10.

Free parking is available on the street on Spinnaker Dr. or in the "Dolphin Lot" which is on the right past the entrance to the Harbor area at Spinnaker Dr. and Harbor Blvd. Turn in at the second Safe Harbor Ventura Isle sign and other dolphin signs. Park in that parking lot for free and enjoy a 5-minute stroll down the promenade to the Art Center, located in the same passageway as On the Alley restaurant and Ventura Dive & Sport.
